Your data, and how we use it.
Effective date: July 3, 2026
Builder Boost provides an AI receptionist and related tools for contractors. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain because your business shouldn't need a lawyer to understand what happens to its data.
What we collect
To run the service, we collect: your name and business information (business name, services, service area, and hours); your phone number and the number we help you forward; call recordings and transcripts from calls answered on your behalf; calendar data needed to check availability and book jobs; and standard website analytics (such as pages visited and general device information) when you use our site.
How we use it
We use this information solely to operate the features you signed up for — the AI receptionist, chat, review automation, lead nurture, and your ROI dashboard — on behalf of you, the account holder. We do not sell your data to third parties. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to deliver these features (for example, telephony and calendar providers), and only to the extent needed to make the product work for you.
AI disclosure
Calls to your forwarded line are answered by an AI system, not a live person. This is disclosed to every caller at the start of each call. Recordings and transcripts of these calls are created so you can review what was said and so the dashboard can report on your leads and bookings.
Data retention
We keep call recordings and transcripts for as long as needed to provide the service and to power your dashboard. You can ask us to delete your recordings, transcripts, or account data at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it for a legitimate legal or operational reason.
